More flexible funding intended to boost startups
The Swiss government has drafted a law intended to give Switzerland’s innovation support agency Innosuisse more flexibility in how it can fund startup companies.
If passed by Switzerland’s parliament, the legislation would allow Innosuisse to directly support innovation projects intended to enable startups to bring their first commercial offering to market, whereas at present startups can only be partners on innovation projects or apply for support for activities such as training, the government said on 17 February.
