Plan for 2021-23 aims to attract young talent to research

The Spanish cabinet has adopted a three-year national plan for research and innovation that aims to attract young people to the sector, tackle societal challenges, and encourage links between science and industry.

On 15 June, the Ministry of Science and Innovation said the plan would support the “generational renewal of research staff”, including by providing young researchers with more permanent contracts.
