Spanish research council hit by cyberattack ‘from Russia’

Some research centres continue to lack access to the organisation’s online networks

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC)—Spain’s main public body for science, technology and innovation—has reported a cyberattack on its systems, which it says appears to have originated in Russia.
