Switzerland and Israel agree closer research ties

Agreement billed as “the start of a long-term and promising cooperation” on R&D

Switzerland and Israel have signed an agreement to increase their cooperation on research and innovation.

The national funding bodies of the two countries—the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Israel Science Foundation (ISF)—signed a memorandum of understanding on 29 August to strengthen collaboration between their researchers.
