November meeting aims to uncover how EU countries could better coordinate on climate and health
EU research ministers are coming together on 26 November for a meeting at which they are expected to approve a position on the governance of the European Research Area policy package, adopt a stance on a Pact for Research and Innovation, and debate the role of research and innovation in achieving broader EU aims.
A briefing paper circulated to the ministers last week by the Slovenian presidency of the Council of the EU revealed that national work on climate and healthcare would be topics for the debate on “achieving cross-sectoral objectives”.
