EU expert group to focus on gaps in food systems science

  

Group will feed into UN agenda for secure, healthy and sustainable food supply

The European Commission has set up an expert group focused on food systems science, which will form part of the EU contribution to UN efforts to boost the security, equity and environmental sustainability of the world’s food supply.

Launched on 17 February, the group has 19 members including experts from China, Kenya and the United States, as well as EU countries.
