Majority of survey respondents say they would welcome more EU-level coordination
Many EU countries “do not have a specific overarching science diplomacy strategy”, a survey of 19 European countries has found, while a majority of those surveyed would welcome more EU-level coordination on the issue.
Only the Czech Republic, Greece, France, the Netherlands and Portugal reported having an explicit science diplomacy strategy, when responding to the survey carried out by the European Research Area and Innovation Committee (ERAC), a body made up of representatives of EU member states that advises the EU.
