Talks focus on universities, research challenges and taking “concrete steps” on long-running policy goals
Ministers from EU member states, Iceland and Norway are meeting in Paris today and tomorrow to discuss European policy on higher education and research, including the challenges faced.
The informal meeting being held under the French presidency of the Council of the EU comes on the heels of the recently launched European strategy for universities and also follows agreements between member states, reached in late 2021, on R&D policies.
