Early reaction to Conference on Future of Europe laments “missed opportunity”
A year-long initiative to engage citizens in EU policymaking is coming to a close with about 20 measures on R&D, which have been met with disappointment in early reaction from the research sector.
The Conference on the Future of Europe met in a final plenary session last week, at which EU politicians agreed on 49 proposals for actions the bloc should prioritise over the coming years.
