Research can be used to assess shortcomings, ministers say
Ministers and secretaries of state from 14 EU countries have written to the European Commission calling for an evidence-based approach to regulating artificial intelligence technologies.
“We must apply an evidence-based approach by carefully assessing existing legislation regulating the application of AI as well as identify potential shortcomings of addressing risks associated to AI,” ministers said.
