Initiative led by Joint Research Centre aims to help bring researchers and policymakers together
The European Commission has launched a centre for engaging people in policymaking, which it says will include “a platform for policymakers and researchers to connect”.
The Competence Centre on Participatory and Deliberative Democracy, launched on 6 October, will be managed by the Joint Research Centre, the Commission’s evidence service. According to the Commission, it will “foster partnerships and provide guidance, tools and resources to strengthen citizen engagement in policy”.
