Researchers report difficulty accessing materials and sharing their data

The EU should create a right to conduct research on copyrighted material, according to a study in which researchers described difficulties in carrying out such work.

The Right to Research in International Copyright Law project from the American University Washington College of Law reported on 13 March that 20 interviews with researchers in Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Sweden provided “strong evidence” of the need for copyright reform to enable research.
