Commission plans ‘hub’ to boost digitisation of education

Focal point for digitisation would be linked to a network of national advisers

The European Commission wants to improve links between disparate digital education initiatives by creating a “hub” and an accompanying network of advisory services.

The linking structures were presented on 30 September as part of the Commission’s 2021-27 plan to hasten the digitisation of education across the EU. They will be designed to help EU countries learn from each other’s efforts, as well as those of private and not-for-profit organisations working in the area.
