Initiative will pay for foreign researchers ‘of world renown’
The NAWA, Poland’s national agency for academic exchange, has launched an initiative to attract high-ranking researchers from other nations as part of a push to internationalise Polish institutions.
Under the NAWA Chair programme announced on 3 June, universities and other scientific institutions can apply for long-term funding to support “a foreign scientist of world renown”, as well as for fundamental research, all financed by Poland’s National Science Centre.
