Education Council expected to endorse EU support for skilled trades education, German presidency says
EU education ministers have given their informal blessing to a European Commission plan for the bloc to support vocational education and training, which is now likely to receive their formal endorsement.
Germany’s education minister, Anja Karliczek, who chaired a two-day meeting of education ministers this week, said in a 17 September statement afterwards that she hoped ministers acting as the Education Council would endorse a position on vocational training at a formal meeting in November.
