Covid restrictions still in place at many European universities

              

Report by European University Association warns more restrictions may come in as cases rise

Staff and students at universities across Europe are still experiencing limitations on face-to-face teaching as a result of restrictions brought in to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, a continent-wide survey of higher education leaders has reported.

The European University Association (EUA) surveyed 26 national rectors’ conferences across Europe, and said on 17 November that as of October only four conferences reported having no restrictions to on-campus, face-to-face teaching in place or planned.
