First step to create “clear and detailed working definition” of quality education
The European Commission has convened an expert group to help guide the EU’s investment in education at all levels, saying the overall mission is to identify policies that can boost outcomes and inclusiveness while improving spending efficiencies.
The group will agree on “a clear and detailed working definition of quality education and training”, and then analyse policies with an emphasis on teachers, infrastructure and digitisation, including cost-benefit analyses.
