Commission reveals €4.2bn Erasmus+ 2023 plans

Mobility programme will spend €2.98bn of call cash on education and training initiatives

The European Commission has announced that the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, which funds initiatives including academic mobility, will spend €4.2 billion via its 2023 call.

Launched on 23 November, the call has an estimated budget of €3.39 billion from the EU, with nearly a billion more in additional money coming from other sources such as the European Free Trade Association.
