Responses will support evaluation of efforts to simplify EU’s academic mobility programme and improve inclusivity

The European Commission has launched a call for evidence on how well the EU’s Erasmus+ mobility programme has performed since 2014.

Open until 12 September, the call is part of an initiative to evaluate the 2014-20 and 2021-27 iterations of the programme to see if its simplicity and inclusivity are improving.

“The outcomes of the evaluation will be used to improve, where possible, the implementation of the current programme running until 2027 and to feed into the impact assessment for a possible Erasmus+ successor programme,” a document accompanying the call said.

The call for evidence will be followed by an online public consultation and targeted consultations. The Commission will publish a report on the results.
