EU4Art is the only European Universities Initiative alliance not to receive follow-on funding

The EU has extended funding for 16 of the 17 original alliances in its European Universities Initiative scheme, which aims to build cross-border cooperation between higher education institutions.

EU4Art, an alliance of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome and the Art Academy of Latvia, was the only one of the 17 EUI alliances that won funding in 2019 but was unsuccessful in applying for follow-on funding.
