UK institutions will continue roles in EUI alliances despite not being eligible for EU money
UK universities are to retain pivotal roles in the cross-border alliances of the EU’s European Universities Initiative despite no longer being full members or receiving funds from the bloc.
On 27 July, the European Commission extended funding for 16 of the 17 original EUI alliances funded in 2019 and funded four new ones. Each will receive up to €14.4 million over four years.
