The Association of European Research Libraries is looking for a new executive director.

Liber—a network that aims to help shape policy on topics including copyright and scholarly publishing—announced on 20 March that it had opened applications for the role.

The group’s executive director is responsible for coordinating and implementing its strategy, managing its office and advocating for its research-library members at EU level.

Liber’s current executive director is Astrid Verheusen, who previously worked at the National Library of the Netherlands.

According to the job advert, the role will be based at Liber’s office in the Hague, the Netherlands, and the role-holder will report to the group’s president, Julien Roche. The deadline for applications is 17 April.
