With Europe once again the epicentre of the pandemic, governments look increasingly in danger of losing public support for their efforts to slow the spread of Covid-19. Late last month, the European Commission presented plans for additional response measures. In these it stressed that “all member states should relaunch communication campaigns adapted to the current situation”.
