As researchers rally for Ukraine, international ties must change
“Ukraine is in flames, crimes against its people continue, and it needs your help.” This is Oksana Seumenicht’s plea to the research community—and it is Research Europe’s too.
The words of Seumenicht, a co-founder of the Ukrainian Academic International Network, have been echoed by scores of academic leaders over the past two weeks. There has been much condemnation of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, and researchers have been urged to support their Ukrainian peers.
