Auckland researcher says country must move to open sharing of intellectual property

New Zealand is “moving headlong in the wrong direction” when it comes to innovation, an Auckland University of Technology researcher has said.

The latest Global Innovation Index from the World Intellectual Property Organization has New Zealand at 26th of 51 high-income economies, down from its 2015 ranking of 15th.
