Federal budget provides NZ$344 million to redevelop Scott Base research station
New Zealand’s Scott Base research station in Antarctica is to be rebuilt with NZ$344 million from the 2021 budget.
The government will contribute NZ$306m in capital costs, along with NZ$38m for operating costs.
