New Zealand health research council awards $NZ68 million, with University of Auckland winning big

The Health Research Council of New Zealand has given out $NZ68.3 million to support research into new treatments and health systems.

The funding includes four major programme grants, to run over five years. Another 41 grants were allocated to a range of smaller projects, including five from a set of grants earmarked for Māori research and Pacific health projects.
