New Zealand’s largest contestable research fund announces NZ$244 million for 17 institutions

The New Zealand government’s Endeavour Fund has announced support for 69 research projects at a total cost of NZ$244 million.

The bulk of the money will go to 17 Research Programmes, which will receive NZ$192.1m for work over five years. The other 52 awards, totalling NZ$51.9m, are Smart Ideas grants, which run for two or three years.
