Applications down, success up in 2022 Marsden Fund call

A total of NZ$77.6 million in project and researcher grants will be paid out this year

The success rate for grant applications to New Zealand’s flagship Marsden Fund grants has risen slightly, the fund’s managers have announced.

The overall success rate in the two categories awarded was 12.6 per cent, compared to 10.4 per cent in 2021. The fund said this was because fewer applications were made overall this year.
