NZ$6.5 million programme to develop networks and mentorships for Māori

Māori researchers are getting a new support programme to encourage them to stay in the workforce.

The NZ$6.5 million Kanapu programme will seek to connect Maori researchers to each other across institutions, the research, science and innovation minister Ayesha Verrall announced on 18 August.
