Epidemiologist promises to create ‘environment where the full spectrum of high-quality health research can thrive’

Anne Johnson has been elected as the next president of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Johnson, who has been the academy’s vice-president since 2018, will take over the five-year post from Robert Lechler on 3 December, the academy announced on 16 October.
