Learned Society of Wales resumes search for leader

Previous candidate Emma Adamson to remain at University of South Wales after “new opportunity” emerges

The search for a new leader of the Learned Society of Wales has resumed after the chosen candidate decided not to take up the post.

Emma Adamson, who was appointed chief executive in October, has since chosen to remain at the University of South Wales, where she is director of learning services, the society announced on 19 November.
