Learned society launches two awards to celebrate “breadth of ways people contribute to science”

The Royal Society has announced an overhaul of its awards portfolio to recognise the contributions of overlooked individuals and team members.

As part of the drive, two awards were launched on 30 November to celebrate “the breadth of ways in which people contribute to science”: the Hauksbee Award and the Research Culture Award.
