Chemistry departments at institutions recognised for “ground-breaking” education initiatives during pandemic

Chemistry departments at the University of York and University College London have scooped up awards for their “strong” contribution to education during the pandemic.

Together with the University of California, the institutions were awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry’s prestigious Horizon Prize, which celebrates “ground-breaking innovations and initiatives that mark a step change in education”.
