Campaign for Science and Engineering tells leaders to build on devolved nations’ R&D strengths

Candidates in the upcoming Scottish and Welsh elections have been urged to embrace the opportunities offered by science and engineering.

In separate letters to the devolved nations’ political party leaders, ahead of 6 May elections, Sarah Main, executive director of the Campaign for Science and Engineering, urged them to set out how they will build on the countries’ “unique strengths” in science and innovation.
