InterAcademy Partnership urges countries to “strengthen and support” R&D to address climate change
A partnership of international academies, including the Royal Society, has called on governments around the world to develop a technology roadmap for achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
In a joint statement published one month ahead of the United Nations COP26 climate change conference, the InterAcademy Partnership urged all countries to deploy the technological, natural and behavioural solutions that are available to them, and to strengthen and support research and innovation to address climate change.
