BSA and Royal Society of Edinburgh announce new leaders

And Alan Turing Institute appoints new chair to board of trustees

The British Science Association has announced Anne-Marie Imafidon as its new president-elect, while Sarah Skerratt will join the Royal Society of Edinburgh as chief executive.

Imafidon, who is a computer scientist, mathematician and author, will take over the presidency from space scientist and presenter Maggie Aderin-Pocock on 16 September.
