The team behind the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid vaccine have been awarded the Royal Society’s most prestigious prize.

For the first time in the nearly 300-year history of the Copley Medal, which is considered to be the world’s oldest scientific prize, it has gone to a team rather than an individual.
