American-based vaccine developer says joining ABPI builds on wider commitment to expand UK footprint
Moderna, the US-based biotechnology company known for developing one of the Covid-19 vaccines, has joined the UK’s leading pharmaceutical industry group.
The company said becoming a member of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) builds on its wider long-term commitment to the UK after it signed a 10-year deal worth around £1 billion with the government in December.
