New council to review UK spaceflight regulations

Group including industry experts to advise on changes to regulation ahead of first UK missions

A new council will advise the government on regulations for the spaceflight sector as it prepares to launch the first space missions from the UK.

The Spaceflight Safety and Regulatory Council—which will include government members, industry experts and the Space Flight Regulator—will be responsible for keeping regulations under review and providing recommendations to government on any changes which may be required.
