State-owned Emirati firm has partnered with UK government on investment vehicle for life sciences companies
The UK government and a state-owned investment firm from the United Arab Emirates have announced a life-sciences industry investment partnership worth £1 billion.
The UAE-UK Sovereign Investment Partnership includes an initial £800 million commitment from the Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Investment Company, alongside the UK government’s investment of £200m to the Life Sciences Investment Programme announced last year.
