Cambridge life sciences to get £850m boost from US firm

US investment company Blackstone to acquire Cambridge International Technology Park and plot at Granta Park

The American investment company Blackstone is planning to invest about £850 million in a new life sciences laboratory and office space in Cambridge, UK.

The company announced on 21 September that it was acquiring two sites in the city, including the 15-acre Cambridge International Technology Park (pictured) and a 27-acre plot at Granta Park, a science, technology and biopharmaceutical park.
