Journal finder tool aims to simplify open-access publishing

Authors will be able to check if IOP journals comply with funder or institutional requirements

The Institute of Physics’ publishing company has launched a free tool to allow authors to check if IOP journals comply with the open-access requirements of their funder or institution.

Announced on 15 September, the IOP Publishing Journal Finder is part of a wider collaboration between the publisher and the service provider ChronosHub—a platform that aims to streamline the process of open-access publishing.
