Springer Nature’s London staff have called off further planned strikes after reaching an agreement with the journal publisher, averting the threat of disruption to one of science’s leading publications.

The journal’s staff, who are members of National Union of Journalists, have been striking over a pay dispute, which has now ended with a two-year settlement.
