Reid, Smith and Stock discuss future of UK-EU research collaboration post-Brexit

The government must address “unfinished business” regarding the UK’s future participation in European research programmes, the authors of an influential paper on post-Brexit research collaboration have said.

In an article published in the Journal of the Foundation for Science and Technology on 7 August, Adrian Smith, director and chief executive of the Alan Turing Institute, and Graeme Reid, chair of science and research policy at University College London, say there are still a number of unanswered questions regarding the UK’s future relationship with the bloc.
