Delays to UK association to EU R&D programme are already affecting 69 partners on projects
Dozens of UK organisations have taken part in projects funded through the EU’s Horizon Europe R&D programme during 2021 without being able to access funding.
Political disputes between the EU and the UK have contributed to delays to the UK becoming associated to the €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) programme, and science minister George Freeman has hinted at alternative plans should an agreement not be reached.
