Research Fortnight examines the opposition party’s R&D policies

As the Conservative Party continues to dominate UK politics with news coming thick and fast out of its conference this week, you’d be forgiven for forgetting that the main opposition party held its own conference less than a fortnight ago.

Promises to double dementia research spending and review R&D tax credits were big moments for research at the Labour Party’s annual gathering in Brighton from 25 to 29 September, which was otherwise light on specifics about its R&D policy.
