Review will identify improvements required for the UK to become a “science superpower”
Paul Nurse’s upcoming review of the R&D landscape will span the breadth of the system, including universities and publicly funded laboratories, and will be published in spring 2022.
The Nobel laureate who previously reviewed R&D funding will now analyse how institutes across the UK “compare to each other and that of other countries with strengths in research development and innovation”.
