George Freeman urges researchers to be “realistic” about possibility of non-association to EU’s R&D programme
Science minister George Freeman has told the research community to be “realistic” about the possibility of non-association to Horizon Europe as he set out more detail on contingency plans.
The minister’s comments follow the announcement of a new “financial safety net” for the first wave of successful applicants to the European Union’s €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) R&D programme to cover ongoing delays in the UK’s association to the programme.
