UK opens fast-track immigration route for prizewinners

   

Streamlined rules allow Nobel laureates and other prizewinners to move to UK more easily

The UK government has opened a faster immigration route for prizewinners from across the science, humanities, engineering, arts and digital technology sectors as part of its Global Talent visa.

Winners of prestigious awards such as Nobel Prizes and the Turing Award will be able to live and work in the UK more easily under the reforms, according to the Home Office’s 5 May announcement.
